Is Huckabee the Manchurian candidate? Tipster Zack Exley found Huck's fundraising map of America looks strangely familiar.

Is Duncan Hunter courting the nudist vote? Our favorite typo of the week came from the no-chance candidate, who said: "Folks, in the last two weeks there have been some very promising developments in the race for president, some of which may at first glance be discouraging. But bare with us as we detail why we're encouraged about the prospects." Had to be a typo. We couldn't bear the sight of Duncan bare.

Eavesdropping on the Dodd campaign: Dodd's latest fundraising email inadvertently contained a forwarded message from Sheryl Cohen, his campaign manager, to his online hustler, Tim Tagaris. What did we learn from it? Tagaris had to be persuaded to send another request for donations, although the campaign was $40,000 short of its November goal, and Dodd's online supporters got a peek at what's going on backstage.

Polling for dollars: On the same day the Richardson campaign announced an Iowa poll showed him in 4th place, at 15%, moving ahead of Biden, the Biden campaign released the results of another poll showing Biden leading Richardson, 8% to 4%. It just goes to show figures don't lie--politicians figure.

Is what's good for the goose good for the gander? Duncan Hunter called on Romney to use his influence with Bain Capital, a company he founded, to drop its partnership with Chinese defense contractor Huawei in a bid to buy U.S. defense contractor 3com. Hunter claims Huawei has close ties to China's military and allegedly aided Saddam Hussein and the Taliban. Apparently Duncan forgot our CIA also aided Saddam Hussein and the Taliban.

Mitt "Bunyan" to the rescue: Apparently the Ken doll candidate can dodge more than questions. A man whose home was destroyed by the recent San Diego wildfires got a call from the local LDS church, offering to help clean up. When the charitable caller learned there was also a burnt tree the man couldn't remove, he showed up at 7 a.m. with his father, none other than Mitt Romney--sans the press corp.

More Hillary thrills and shills: According to a letter obtained by the AP Friday, two leaders in the local Service Employees International Union have accused Clinton's campaign of using their names in a press release announcing a "Nevada Nurses for Hillary" group, even though they never gave permission to use their names as an endorsement. Are Hillary plants now pollinating endorsement lists?
