WHAT: McCain press conference call to discuss the campaign's finances
WHEN: Thursday, July 10 at 2:00 p.m. EDT

SUMMARY
Campaign Manager Rick Davis discusses the finances of the John McCain 2008 campaign in this press conference call. Davis emphasized that the McCain campaign spends about $10 million less than Senator Barack Obama's campaign per month. Davis said the McCain campaign's fundraising has been consistently successful, stating its cash-on-hand amount was nearly $95 million raised via McCain campaign direct-mail fundraising, the RNC "victory" fundraising, and individual state "victory" fundraising. Davis said he expects the campaign to raise another $95 million by the end of the summer. Davis said his total estimate of a unified budget of $400 million was relatively conservative. He also said the campaign has more field operations and has spent three times more on TV advertising than the Obama campaign.
