SUMMARY
McCain campaign manager Rick Davis and Steve Schmidt unveiled and discussed their new television ad "Celeb." The ad portrays Obama alongside Britney Spears and Paris Hilton as a global celebrity speaking to hundreds of thousands of "fans" in Berlin. Calling Obama's supporters his "fans," Davis said that the question for voters is if Obama is ready to lead the country at this point in time. Davis said that Obama's campaign was focused on creating an image of Obama as a celebrity with huge adoring crowds and not addressing issues of concern to American voters.
