One of my all time favorite self-massage techniques is the temple rub. So simple, and yet so effective. The temples are located just above and outside the eyes, below the forehead and in front of or intersecting with your hairline. You will know you've found your temples if you feel the
soft give of muscle as opposed to the hard resistance of bone. Don't overlook the power of taking a deep breath, then using the tips of your fingers to massage your temples in gentle circles. Generally, massaging in the direction of ears to nose (forward circles) is recommended, but always follow your own intuition about your body. Make at least ten circles with the same number of deep breaths. This self-massage can be extremely helpful for headaches and neck aches.

i love me some temple rubs!
it's the best whenever someone else does it for you.
I do enjoy a temple rub, but I prefer someone else to do it.
No - nothing sily now.
What I mean is that I love having my hair washed in the beauty shop. It makes me feel so relaxed and comfortable.
I love for my husband to massage my head whenever I feel a headache coming on.
And so forth.
I love this 'living' site.
I am always surprised at how well that works and how quickly!
My retirement plan needs a temple rub.
