Omar Samaha graduated in 2006 from Virginia Tech, where his sister Reema was killed during the mass shooting on April 16, 2007. Since then, Omar has been an advocate for stronger gun laws, from participating in an undercover investigation for ABC’s 20/20, to leading the nationwide Fix Gun Checks campaign. He now works full time on gun violence prevention in Washington D.C.
