OMG! We never thought it would happen!

Brad Pitt had pledged numerous times that he and Angelina Jolie would not marry until all Americans could legally tie the knot. But, as it turns out, love just can't wait. America's royal couple is now officially engaged and Brangelina will make its way down the aisle, presumably sometime this summer.

Why It’s Important: It’s where it all started.
Although Brad and Angelina have always denied an extramarital start to their relationship, rumors started swirling of an affair the moment cameras started rolling on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith back in 2004. I guess we’ll never know. But soon enough, they were officially a couple — when Angie announced she was pregnant.
