Liars tend to be strategic thinkers, powerful, able to intuitively sense how others perceive them, verbal and gregarious. Extroverts lie more than introverts and they persist longer in maintaining their lie when interrogated. Men tell eight times more lies about themselves than others, while women lie more frequently to protect others.
