One of the biggest dreams of any entrepreneur, male or female, is a successful company that is earning revenue. Even bigger, a successful company that is earning a lot of revenue - with product everywhere in the market, a highly respected brand and high level partnerships and relationships that further drive the vision forward.

That's exactly the case with employee-turned-entrepreneur Paige Adams Geller, who after years of working for others launched her own denim company, Paige Premium Denim.

Created in 2004, the company focused on creating jeans for women by a woman, something that had not been widely seen in the market. Today, it is one of fashion's new powerhouses. Visit virtually any store online or offline and you'll see Paige jeans for both men and women. The company recently created a custom pair of jeans for the movie "Confessions of a Shopaholic" and an array of colorful styles to match OPI nail polish (another hipster favorite). It's a case study we all would love to have: Employee-turned-entrepreneur-turned-sensational-success.

Power Girls know how to take the leap - and then drive forward from there.

Adams Geller may have started her career working for others, but it was her own vision, business mind and smarts that truly took her work to the highest level. In a matter of just a few short years, Paige Premium Denim has become the jeans everybody wants. It's not just a personal favorite but also the collection of choice for quite a few power men I know. Styles have been seen on dozens and dozens of celebrities, in countless magazine shoots, red carpet and more. It's been rumored that revenues are in the double digit millions - not bad for someone who has made the entrepreneurial leap, and without a doubt an inspiration to founders everywhere.

This week, fellow entrepreneur and New Power Girls co-creator Meghan Cleary and I sat down with the denim business sensation to find out her three top tips for those making the leap from employee to entrepreneur. Shot at the gorgeous Oceana hotel in Santa Monica, CA (with gifts from Alltop.com, Bliss, Cosabella, Sortingwithstyle.com and John Kelly chocolates), we asked the big question: How.

Check out the interview and Adams Geller's top tips for making the transition from employee to entrepreneur.
