On a Clear Day You Can See ... a Hollywood Plot!!??

The Republican Party must really be feeling down at the mouth. Otherwise, by now we surely would have heard full-throated harangues about a dangerous, ascendant liberal dynasty.

Not the Clintons. The Brolins.

Oliver Stone is making a bio-pic of George W. Bush; the 43rd president is to be played by actor and registered Democrat Josh Brolin, he of the SAG award-winning ensemble cast of No Country for Old Men. George W. Bush, before things went pear-shaped on him, was a conservative hero who aspired to be like his great conservative hero, Ronald Reagan.

And in a 2003 Emmy-nominated performance in a TV miniseries, Reagan was played by ... James Brolin, Josh's father, also a registered Democrat.

Which means that the two actors cast in the only movies to date to portray two revered Republican leaders are the stepson and the husband of ... Barbra Streisand, the definitive Hollywood liberal Republicans love to loathe.

Coincidence??

Ahhh the fantasy world that Hollywood liberals live in will finally hit the big screen. Having any Brolin star in an Oliver Stone film about "W" is like having two KKK clan leaders do a film about Martin Luther King. If you think there will be any impartiality in Oliver Stone's film just go ask the clan leaders, OK?

Hey, these rolls are definitely challenging, especially the one Josh Brolin is to play. I mean, one has to really dig deep for some extraordinary acting skills to make it plausible all the while keeping the disgust and maybe laughing under control. Maybe, Josh can use the laughing release disguised as Dubya's infamous smirk?

The Dubya film will probably never be released, so it won't matter...u­nless it's done like a Mel Brooks film. I can see it now... a re-cast with Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane playing the lead roles of George & Dick, respectively, with Robin Williams playing Babs, John Travolta as HW and Meryl Streep playing Laura. The twins could be played by Paris Hilton & her sister. Rove could be played by Danny DeVito. It could be the box-office hit of the century!!! ROTFL!!

Maybe, we'll see another film about Reagan, with Fred Thompson playing the lead!!
