Show Yourselves "Some" and "Others"

Who are the "SOME" that President Bush was talking about in his State Of The Union Address when he said:

"We seek the end of tyranny in our world. SOME dismiss that goal as misguided idealism."

Who are these "SOME" who would dismiss such a dreamy, beautiful goal? It isn't the left. I live as far left as you can get in this country without falling into the Pacific Ocean and I think I know or have had lunch with every baby killing, Jesus hating, American family eroding, gay cowboy movie loving pinko in Hollywood and I never heard any of them say anything good about tyranny.

The "SOME" sound even more deviously wrong-headed than the "Isolationists" and the "Protectionists" (whoever the hell they are). But they aren't the only threat.

Somewhere out there lurking in the darkness is the second malignancy on the American way: The "OTHERS"

The President spoke of them early in his speech when he warned us that: "OTHERS say that the government needs to take a larger role in directing the economy, centralizing more power in Washington and increasing taxes."

YIKES!

Once the President hipped us to the "SOME" and the "OTHERS" he didn't need to mention them by name again. We knew who they were. They are the deadbeats that possess "defeatism that refuses to acknowledge anything but failure" and the pessimists who have given in to the belief that "America is in decline, or that our culture is doomed to unravel".

Mr. President, I am proud to report to you that all of my liberal friends abhor that kind of wholesale dismissal of potential on the part of this the greatest nation on the face of the earth. I am sure that my conservative friend would also feel that way but we haven't spoken in six years so I have to guess.

I would like to put out a call to all Americans, left, right and center to support our President and be on the lookout for the "OTHERS" and the "SOME".

"Grab your assault weapons and I'll fire up the Prius! We gonna round us up a posse!"
