Just got this video forwarded to me... IT'S AWESOME! Loved the misspelled word list... "no pubic option"... priceless!
Lol. France.
The survey was done nine years ago. We are worse than 37th today. While other systems worked to improve their health care, the U.S. has continued down the road to being the worse system in the developed world as far as cost and quality goes.
Stephen Colbert mentioned that on his show last week. Slovenia is #38. Stephen said "Suck it Slovenia !!! "
France is #1. The country where an ambulance took an hour to get Princess Diana to a hospital that was 10 minutes away.
Well, I watch " sick around the world" on Frontline. This cituation was mentioned and the way the reporter explained it if I can remember correctly was that they way they do it is they do a lot of the treatment on site. Also I think she was trapped in a mangled mess and it probably took a long time to pull her out.
It took an hr to remove the victims from the wreckage. You people will use any accident to downgrade other countries health care.

More Americans could take risks with small businesses if they didnt have to worry about health care - entrepreneurship could surge.
Nice.
this was great, I put it on my facebook page today. Searing message with a catchy little tune!
Don't hold your breath for this song to change many minds. In Right-Wing World, any study that finds the U.S. to be something other than #1 in good things and last place in bad things must have an anti-American bias.
Mr. Hipp,
Could you list for our audience the significant medical innovations that 1-36 have brought to the world in the last 40 years?
Since you most likely cannot, what conclusion do you reach-that the socialized single payer countries benefit from our medical innovation, rather than create their own?
Who will bring emerging medical technology forward? Costa Rica???
Can't you see the disconnect here? Why are we at Number 37?
I'll tell you this, because I work for a dentist: we just went to an infection control meeting, and the standard of cleanliness is higher in Europe. They use all the new and best infection control machines. We don't. Why??
it might behoove you to use google before your foot enters your mouth.
I read that Cuba has been researching a cure for breast cancer, and sharing that with Canada and other countries. What has the #37 of this country doing? Oh wait we are too busy making sure the Health Industries are suffing their and our politicians pockets with money. Now isn't that amazing.
Even if we have more innovations, our current system is so unaffordable and rationed by insurance companies that up to half of our people aren't able to use the innovations.
If this wasn't so sad and true, I could better appreciate the fact laden song. But,Americans ought to be angry about being ranked #37 in healthcare delivery systems.
Paul, can we link to this? I'd love to send it to my teabagging family members!
Terrific editing too.
Next time, Costa Rica, #36 belongs us!!!
That's right, biaatch...ur going downnnn!!!
Ahh yes. Ive spent months at a time in Costa Rica. To say that the US is behind costa rica is a joke.
This is a country that is roughly on par with our development circa 1930.
Hmmm, 1930...
I believe that's the last time we had a health care system free of the rapacious effect of insurance corporations and their profit motive trumping Health Care...
Excellent work, love it!
That is way cool! I love it. Take that, town hall screamers!
