On September 26th Hillary Rodham Clinton voted for the Kyl-Lieberman Amendment, which designates the Iranian National Guard as a terrorist organization. As I read through the amendment I found it harder and harder to understand how she could possible defend her vote. The amendment essentially defines the Iranian state as terrorist, it rests on intelligence as shaky as the claims that led us into Iraq, and the language reads like an extension of President Bush's "axis of evil" rhetoric. With Seymour Hersh predicting a U.S. attack Iran, this vote put Senator Clinton squarely in the Hawk's nest.
More importantly, this is a vote of support for all those involved with the Committee on the President Danger, which includes the likes of James Woolsey and a host of people from the Project for a New American Century and the American Enterprise Institute.
I contacted Senator Clinton's office for an interview but haven't heard back from her. So we at The Real News Network have posed our questions for her in this video -- the first of a series that will prompt debate through direct questions for each presidential candidate.

excellent interview questions Mr Jay, I hope you will do the same for Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid.
americans love an imperialist she will win hands down.
imperialism runs deep in america.
maybe she will be able to get that pipeline built from iraq to israel.
give her credit she knows the american voter. she knows down deep most really want wars for profits.
she has played that card and it works. look at her poll numbers.
if bush does not bomb iran she will to prove that a woman pres has the guts to do it like a man.
while europe does nothing they are afraid of us. should have bush and cheney up for war crimes but no they hide in fear of america.
Hillary = Lieberman with a fake F*CKIN laugh
Her aye vote on Kyl/Lieberman was the LAST STRAW for me. Hillary wasn't even my third favorite in the Democratic field, but I would have held my nose and voted for her, until the Kyl/Lieberman vote, (which Cheney will use to attack Iran.) At the moment Iran is attacked, Hillary will be as welcome as Larry Craig at a Miss Mitch McConnel brunch. .villageph otos.com/p /2006-8/12 10139/KylL ieberman.j pg
..Reid isn't a FRIEND.

I am also VERY p*ssed off at Reid, for allowing the Kyl/Lieberman resolution to come to the Senate floor, when he PROMISED it wouldn't. Senate Democrats.
How ironic our congress is calling Iran a "terrorist" nation. Outside of defending itself in the Iran/Iraq war, Iran hasn't invaded or bombed anyone.Gra nted, they've supported Hezbollah in its resistance against Israel, but what country in the world hasn't supported on militant group or another - sure the US can't make that claim. The fact is, the US and Israel are at the top of the list of countries that have attacked or invaded other countries. So who really is the "terrorist" here?
Mrs. Clinton didn't get back to you, Mr. Jay? Look, you really didn't expect her to, now, did you?!
Mrs. C. favors the war in Iraq, and she just voted for the war-enabling Kyl-LIEberman amendment. She's controlled by the Israel lobby.
She's a warmonger.
she has taken the money from all of those who backed bush and his policies and want to ensure that whatever candidate gets elected next continues the imperial agenda. she gets their money, the vast majority of the american electorate is hopelessly ignorant, the mass media helps keep them that way, hillary gets elected, the fascist state continues on business as usual after hillary gets elected.
then america faces its catastrophic economic collapse. what choices do we make? something worse than bush and hillary to maintain the power of the mob that bought and backs them? likely.
keep it up real news network. the more minds you can help free the better off we can possibly be when the power vacuum arises. keep serving up those red pills.
I cannot more strongly urge everyone here on Huffpo to go to www.therea lnews.com.
What a remarkable site for any of the current MSM reporters to go to get reacquainted with their long lost journalistic souls.
And check out the 7-part interview with the great Gore Vidal. 80 years old with an insight to the past, present and future like no one on this earth.
There is only one non-violent response to Corporate Clinton, vote in the primary for a democratic Democrat.
