Obama Won 76 Out of 85 Wisconsin Counties

stumbleupon :Obama Won 76 Out of 85 Wisconsin Counties   digg: Obama Won 76 Out of 85 Wisconsin Counties   reddit: Obama Won 76 Out of 85 Wisconsin Counties   del.icio.us: Obama Won 76 Out of 85 Wisconsin Counties

Just went through the CNN links and Obama won 76 of the Wisconsin counties where CNN listed totals, vs 9 for Clinton. He won solidly in Milwaukee and Madison, of course, but also won 90% of the smaller counties, in every corner of the state. This means conservative rural voters, and suburban soccer dads and residents of beleaguered manufacturing towns. Add in that by himself Obama won 70,000 more votse than all the Republicans combined, and that the Democratic electorate was 58% female and 63% over the age of 45 (including 29% over 65) and you have one more watershed victory.

As Obama continues to broaden his reach in each successive caucus or primary, Wisconsin should answer any lingering questions about his potential range of support. The only question now is how much damage Clinton will do before she finally hits the wall and quits.

The idea that republicans are crossing over to vote for Obama for "strategic reasons" is a total crock. I personally know an evangelical christian pro-lifer who voted for Obama in the Virginia primary and will vote for Obama in the general election. Why? Because even though he knows that Obama is pro-choice, he trusts that Obama actually values "life" in a meaningful way. He notes that even though republican candidates say they are "pro-life," they focus myopically on Roe v. Wade while pushing policies that ignore or harm those who have actually been born. He believes that Obama is more likely than McCain to pay attention to poor mothers (and their babies) and is less likely to allow the US to continue ruining the planet for future generations--both of which he sees as "pro-life" concerns. A lot of his friends feel the same way. I was stunned, but his logic made total sense.

Re Republicans surging for McCain, I just heard from an extremely conservative Mormon accounting professor in Utah who almost always disagrees in the most friendly way with my articles. We've had a great correspondence over the past seven years.

"You're not going to believe this," he said, then explained why he thought he'd end up voting for Obama.

And an African American woman cleaning the house of a white Major told me how he engaged her in a conversation on how wonderful he thought Obama was.

Nothing's guaranteed and we're all going to have to work our tail off, but this has the potential for a major realignment election.

I hope all of you felt something up your leg like Chris Matthews did. This is why the Republicans are crossing over for Senator Obama, its called “strategic voting.”
"With McCain’s GOP nomination virtually assured, rumors say some Texas Republicans are apparently planning to vote in the Democratic primary, hoping to affect the outcome of that tight presidential race."

Check this out if you don't believe me.

Last summer I spent time in deep in the Wisconsin country side for the first time in my life, along with a first visit to a NASCAR regional race. If this state went for Obama, then it's over for Hillary, and most likely over for McCain. Had an incredibly good time with the great folks who loaned us a racecar, helped us in the pits to actually be competitive, and were generally the best guys to party with. And I'm from the People's Republic of Massachusetts. Go Obama!

If "mere words" can open up this size can of whup-ass on Senator Presumptive Nominee, I'm more than willing to listen.

As convincing as this sounds, and of course it was a convincing victory, all pundits refuse to comment that Winsonsin is a neighboring state to Illinois. THAT was the major demographic, Obama won big in Illinois as well and the large population centers of Chicago and Milwaukee have merged into an extraburb.

No other demographic has the value this one does. However because of the new voter increase Winsonsin will be closer this year and will be one of the few swing states that Obama could actually win.

Independents and Reagan Democrats however will move to McCain if Obama is elected.

HRC versus McCain would be more of a bloodbath. Evry evangelical, neocon, paleocon, and anti-dynast will flock to McCain's side. Plus, I bet many blacks and young voters will stay home rather than vote for either McCain or McCain-lite (HRC).

Thats a talking point or false conventional wisdom that does not have the data to back it up.

The work I have been doing over the last four weeks shows a different story. Indeed some of the Polls starting to be published now show some of these positions were written off a few weeks ago are coming together. I dont mean to quote polls, I am just saying they are starting to catch up and bring credibility to this real phenomenon that is occurring.

The latest information demonstrates that KS is coming together but Obama loses PA to McCain while Hillary would win it. Somthing I have been stating for a few weeks now.

Here is what Mr Axelrod should already know.

Obama flips KS, MO and IA, loses PA, MI, NJ and CT while FL, OH, TN, AR, KY, NM, CO, NV stay RED, WI is a tossup. Obama and the Democrats lose the Electoral College and the Presidency.

Clinton keeps PA, MI, NJ WI while flipping FL, OH, TN, AR, KY, NM, CO (yes that is correct), NV, KS, MO, WI and NV Clinton and the Democrats win the Electoral College and the Presidency.

Against Obama, McCain runs the lower Rockies and the bible belt. VA may come into play, but don’t see that yet.

That has been a pattern in the race to date. He wins more geographical areas because she only focuses on the population she thinks can best serve her ambitions with the least amount of investment from her end.

The Clintons do not like to lose and will ignore the victories of Senator Obama till the very end, which is unfortunate for everyone. The Democratic party could be spending it's energy elsewhere by taking McCain down and sending him to a nice retirement home....somewhere, where he & his wealthy wife can sit back & take a time-out!

The Clintons are a couple from hell. If the DNC does not stand up and stop them, they will destroy this party and country. They are selfish, corrupt, mean and angry losers. Obama has proven himself capable in every sense of the word.

Yes, the Billary team is now TOAST! Next she will get her clock cleaned in the Lone Star State! America has finally tuned into the soap opera and realized they don't want the Clinon's in the oval office daily arguring on how to govern America! Bill would question all of her decisions and make her and our lives not much fun! They are now desparate, and desparate people try desparate things! But nothing now will work for them! But the real fear is that somehow John "Wayne" McCain, the old worn out dangerous cowboy with thin skin and a hair trigger will fool the weak mined voters and at the last minute steal the prize. With the help of course of Sleazy Dick Cheney's Rigged Voting Machines!
