Blagojevich would be wise to put aside any profits from his new book, because if he's convicted on the federal charges against him he will have to surrender those profits to the state of Illinois.

Regarding Barton Gellman's Aug. 13 Washington Post article (“Cheney uncloaks his frustration with Bush”) about Dick Cheney's forthcoming memoir:
My research team at the Unit for the Study of Personality in Politics recently completed a six-month project to develop a psychological profile of former Vice President Dick Cheney, for the purpose of acquiring a deeper understanding of Mr. Cheney’s pivotal role in the Bush administration.
An abstract of the study is available at http://www.immelman.us/news/dick-cheney-personality-profile/
Upon reading Gellman article, I was astonished by the extent to which key points in his report substantiated core findings of our psychological investigation of Dick Cheney.
Pertinent parts of Gellmann’s article are excerpted at http://www.immelman.us/news/cheney-profile-in-the-works/
I haven't seen any news report on this. Read it on Senator McCain and Senatoer Collins tweets and I thought it deserved a comment.
How times have changed. I guess the GOP has bought in to what Obama has been saying. That it is necessary and imperative to dialogue with our adversaries. It bodes well for the old adage"keep your friends close...your enemies closer". Without dialogue, there arises misunderstanding and villification. I wonder what the right wing bloggers and conservative media has to say about these Party stalwarts meeting with the 'terrorist' dictator Qaddafi? Especially in light of Lockerbie convicted bomber Ali Al Megrahi about to be released to Libya because of terminal prostate cancer. Can't wait to hear the spin on this one.
I thought Glenn Beck had a lock on this award every week?
Bachmann or Palin - stepping over the bar has never been so easy...

Too funny. A preposterous week indeed.
For those of you defending Clinton, stop it. Her behavior was unbecoming of a SOS. Period. She lost it. Man I wish she'd go away.
If Edwards had 'fessed up sooner, we wouldn't have to be hearing all about this all over again from now until they find another excuse to go 24/7 on Michael Jackson again.
Sarah Palin pretending she really knows what she's talking about then pretending to back track on pretending what she thinks she knows!
Hillary Clinton's response seemed merely sarcastic rather than a "melt-down", an "outburst" or even a "tongue-lashing". Also, I consider it to have been highly appropriate.

Excuse me. Sec. Clinton didn't "misunderstand" the question from the Congolese student.
The Congolese student misspoke and asked a different question than he intended. Sec. Clinton responded to the question that was asked. What else can we expect from her? Is she now expected to read minds?
"Stewie coming out" is the most obvious statement ever made.
Yep!
