Eric Cantor had the grace to look embarrassed by his own inadequate responses and then stated his clear opposition to the official GOP position when he declared "No one in this country, given who we are, should be sitting without an option to be addressed."
That's exactly right Mr Cantor, and that's why we need the public option.
Terrific, terrific, terrific - I think I've soiled myself from laughing too hard!

Wolfy can come over to my house to play Trivial Pursuits for $100 a question any time he wants.
I think that Tom Delay has made such a fool of himself on "DWTS". LOL. I was surprised when he didn't get voted off in the first elimination last Wednesday. So why is it that some of the most goofiest performers on these talent shows are allowed to stay on them for too long - like Sanjaya on "American Idol"? How could they have that many fans?
It's great to see Texas cringe! W won't be far behind. Him and Laura will be tippy toeing around that dance floor in a few years, her zombielike face will probably end up melting finally. He''ll probably be drinking by then again cause what's Laura gonna do now. He'll pick Jim Beam. He'll be proceeded by the truly gifted one when it comes to dancing Karl Rove. He looks positively juvenile, like a big headed 11 year old whose had way too much Xanax and sugar. We'll probably never see McCain. Maybe Doddering with the Stars.
Andy Richter crushes Blitzer
Tom Delay's a failed hipster
Bush thought Palin was a joke
Takes one to know one, well spoke
Edwards needed comforting
Wife's dying, needs a fling
Straights who've look at pornography
Now find out it's made them gay
Look out Dylan
I know you're chillin'
Workin' on a Christmas album
Churning out some pablum
We need you to write an anthem
One that we can all hum
A song that makes us all want to start a revolution!
Cameron Kirk's a has been
Challenging Darwin
A washed-up child personality
Thinks god gave him a phd
Beck thinks he's a revolution
Interpreting the Constitution
Thinks 1800s slavery taxation
Should apply to present immigration
Look out Bob
I know it's not your job
You deserve to retire
Let the newbies light the fire
But we need a strong voice
In our desperation
Our current singers lack the depth
We need your inspiration!
Cantor to an insurance victim
You should love our for-profit system
Wall Street booms, as jobs are lost
Banks rule, regulations tossed
Unemployment's on the rise
Corporations downsize
Health care's hangin' by it's toes
Will we get it? Heaven knows
It's okay, Dylan
I'm sure you're willin'
Go sing a Christmas ditty
Make it real pretty
We'll find ourselves a new voice
One that rises to the cause
But the cause got trashed
Cause the villians took the trillions
I love it!
Clever!
Very good.
RePug's a poet and don't he/she know it!
Bravo! Brava!
Fan-freaking-tastic!!

Loved seeing Andy Richter clean Blitzer's clock. It reinforces my contention that the funniest people are also the smartest, i.e., Senator Franken.
I am disgusted that ABC has TD on Dancing With The Stars. Talk about a "D" list!
I'm from Texas and he wouldn't come close to a "D" listing here. More like an "X" listing!
