I like B and D, but I think since you are talking about Africa you should also include a black girl - or since we are being diverse here, an asian girl as well.

I saw a girl on my Doritos bag that does some sort of HIV awareness thing. She was young and VERY pretty. I thought she and/or other girls like her should model on billboards demonstrating that people who are HIV+ don't look sick and may be quite attractive. I also think that the ads should primarily target men (but have ads targeting women as well) because if men are willing to use a condom, most women would cooperate more easily than the other way around.

thanks for the comment! just to clarify, i had no association with the creation of any of these packages. :) a colleague of mine collected them and i thought they were an interesting reflection of the interesting and sometimes hard choices that need to be made in the field. and yes, i think youre absolutely right about t he need to target men, hence the question of whether the couple is really the right messaging.
