Send me in, Coach!

stumbleupon :Send me in, Coach!   digg: Send me in, Coach!   reddit: Send me in, Coach!   del.icio.us: Send me in, Coach!

A sign of the times: my friend "Coach" calls himself a "confirmed redneck." Football's safe, politics we avoid. Until Superbowl Sunday. Coach greets me with, "I'm mad as hell at Bush...but Hillary's ruthless and I don't trust her." What about Obama?" I ask. "Well...(long pause)...I do wish he were whiter. But you know, I really do like a lot of what he's saying."

When confirmed rednecks can look beyond nearly 400 years of America's color-coding, something really is changing. Now this is a "poll" I can trust.

Obama to Coach: "Send me."

If we could elect Obama in November, it would change the way America views ourself literally overnight.

There's a huge segment of anti-Iraq Republicans and independents with no one except Paul to support.

McCain isn't representing their views, and Hillary helped create the problem by voting with Bush.

Hillary was on FOX and KRON in SF CA this morning lying about Obama AGAIN, so when ruthless equals untruthful, not too many find that admirable.

Well yeah how do you think J.C watts got elected (with a wide margin) in Eastern Oklahoma? Of course, you will never have the media talk about things like that (unless we force them to).
