Peggy Andover, Ph.D. is an assistant professor of psychology at Fordham University in the Bronx, NY and an expert in non-suicidal self-injury. She received her Ph.D. from Binghamton University and completed her internship and postdoctoral training at Brown Medical School. Dr. Andover has numerous publications in academic journals and scholarly books on NSSI and attempted suicide, and her research on NSSI has been funded by the National Institute of Mental Health.
