Pete is the Climate Campaign Director at the Natural Resources Defense Council. He previously worked as the Climate Policy Project Manager at National Environmental Trust. Before moving to Washington, Altman served as Executive Director of the Texas Fund for Energy and Environmental Education, which was instrumental in winning passage of power plant clean up and renewable energy standards in Texas under then-Governor George W.
