Pete Wentz, 29, is the bassist and lyricist of the Grammy-nominated band Fall Out Boy, which over the past few years have released two multi-platinum albums that spawned the chart topping hits "Sugar, We're Going Down," "Dance, Dance," "Thnks Fr Th Mmrs," and "This Ain't A Scene, Its An Arms Race," among others. Fall Out Boy’s current release “Folie A Deux” has already yielded two smash singles “I Don’t Care” and “America’s Suitehearts.”

An accomplished writer, Wentz released the book The Boy With A Thorn In His Side, which has sold more than 10,000 copies to date and served as the inspiration for his clothing line Clandestine Industries. He is currently hard at work on a follow up, Rainy Day Kids. An entrepreneur by nature, Wentz also founded the record label Decaydence and discovered and signed influential artists Panic at the Disco, Gym Class Heroes, Cobra Starship, and The Academy Is… to the imprint. Wentz is at the helm of his own one-man DJ company, Hemingway Wentz, Inc., has an independent production company and is the co-owner of Angels & Kings, a brand of popular bar and nightlife destinations in New York City, Chicago and Barcelona, Spain. He is also currently the host and co-producer of the MTV show F’N MTV which plays classic and contemporary music videos.

His Clandestine Industries clothing label is carried exclusively at the Clandestine Industries flagship store in Chicago and online at clandestineindustries.com. A full service salon will soon open within the Chicago flagship in 2009, but currently operated on an appointment-only basis.

He is an avid supporter of, and activist for, Invisible Children, an organization dedicated to eradicating the 23-year old civil war in northern Uganda by inspiring American youth to action. In March 2008, Wentz joined more than 1,000 youth from across the country to lobby Congress on behalf of the organization. He has appeared on various television shows to promote his music and good works, and has dabbled in acting, having recently appeared on an episode of Californication, and soon to be seen in CSI:NY.

An artist in every way, Wentz has also exhibiting works from his prolific mixed media, graffiti-inspired collaborative art created with Travis McCoy of Gym Class Heroes. In December 2008, Wentz and McCoy staged an exhibition of more than twenty works created together and individually at Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles. Additional showings are currently in the works.

He currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife Ashlee and son Bronx.
