Looking for a real hidden gem when you travel to Australia? Bypass the well beaten paths of New South Wales and Queensland and head to the island state of Tasmania.
A little over 150 miles from mainland Australia, Tasmania is one of the world's largest islands and a rare surprise for nature lovers. Around 40 percent of the island is protected as national parks and reserves, so there are plenty of ways to hike, bike and explore its landscape.
Watch me explore the mountains, coasts and wildlife of Tasmanian in the latest installment of our Hidden Gems series.
