Peter Kornbluth is a plumbing contractor and very part-time avocado rancher who has lived in Santa Barbara since 1970. He is married to Story Bissell, a native Santa Barbaran who grew up on an avocado ranch, since 1979. He has 2 daughters, ages 26 and 23, who live in New York City and San Francisco. His company installs plumbing systems in new custom homes, and his wife teaches sculpture at the local City College.
