Since 2005, HHF has directly helped children in post-disaster areas in eight countries: Haiti, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Peru, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Hurricane Katrina-affected areas of the United States. Nemcova’s advocacy efforts have been recognized by the United Nations, Do Something and Women Together.
