A New Sound, a New Economy

digg Share this on Facebook Huffpost - stumble reddit del.ico.us RSS

People often ask me what the environment has to do with poverty and why communities of color are getting so active in the fight against climate change.

Yesterday, Green For All released a video that gets to the heart of the matter.

A New Sound communicates both the pain of the old economy and the promise of a new and clean one. It is a moving depiction of why we need an inclusive green economy -- one that builds safer streets and cleaner communities.  It illustrates why we need a vibrant movement for change and opportunity.  It is why we need a new sound.

Great to see this video make it on the Huff Post! For anyone who may be wondering, the music and sound design was done by My Name M, a composer collective in Los Angeles, mynamem.com, and the visual was produced by Black Powder Works, blackpowderworks.com.

I keep hearing about a so called Green Economy and yet when I ask what the viewpoint on controlling Light Pollution is....

Well.. I don't hear much.

Ever wonder WHY you don't see the stars at night?
