The small screen's influence on beauty in the last decade wasn't all bad. Some of the beauty trends we saw were fabulous.

So there it goes, a beauty decade where fiction was served up to us as reality and reality hidden behind surgery. Whatever you may think of Lady Gaga let's hope she heralds the rise of character and eccentricity in beauty once more instead of plastic fembots.

We'll take a cup of individuality yet, for auld lang syne!

I'd like to spend a decade exploring the trends of Christina Hendricks' breasts.

Love her. But the real question is - if you had to choose, which would it be? Would you rather have staggering intellect or enormous beauty?

I LOVE Christina Hendricks. And yes, it's nice to see curvy girls gettin' some love after all these years.

Well, I have to agree that nothing beats good grooming...or the ability to hold a decent conversation.

"No more lollipop heads, R.I.P Ally McBeal. See: Christina Hendricks."

This gets on my nerves. Women's figures shouldn't BE a fashion statement. Thin or curvy, most of the time, women can't control the way there body is shaped. I'd like to see a trend where women are accepted for who they are regardless of the way their body looks....you know, like men!

Thank you! Thin girls shouldn't be put down any more than they should be put on a pedestal. I also hate the way thin girls are automatically assumed to be anorexic. It can be so hurtful. We should encourage people taking good care of themselves and embracing their natural shapes, whatever that may be.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thin women are not always ill or anorexic, despite the snide and nasty remarks of those who think they know everything. It IS hurtful. Thin women are real women, too! Faved!

Thank you! I have been really skinny throughout high school and have been harassed for having an eating disorder. Little did anyone know that I suffered from IBD and couldn't help it.

I love Christina Hendricks. But lollipop head or no, there are still probably some balance issues.... I'm happy to see someone so naturally beautiful, but I wouldn't say the average woman is really reflected by her; she's genetically gifted. And hooray for the return of attention to detail in appearance, but I don't think it has really made its way out of Mad Men and into real life yet.

One of the worst, men who can't seem to find a razor. The tendency for guys to try to look "manly" by not shaving is irritating. Do women find this sexy? I know my wife prefers a smooth face to nuzzle up to.

It's nice to look at on certain men, but clean shaven is better for the kissin'.
