Priyanka Gupta
Priyanka Gupta is a Fulbright-Nehru scholar from India studying in Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. She was the principal correspondent of CNN-IBN, a CNN affiliate in India, covering West Bengal. She has also reported on major news events for the network from Northeast India and worked as the associate news producer and a weather anchor in the New Delhi bureau. She was a recipient of a student stipend award from SARAI-Centre for the Study of Developing Societies in 2007 for urban research, and earned her M.A in English Literature from Jadavpur University, Kolkata.
