You like to keep it light on vacation. A couple of sundresses, a handful of shoes (only the necessary ones) and a pouch full of delicate accessories that won't cause you to sweat to death. The only problem: keeping those dainty necklaces from getting all tangled on the road. Here's a nifty trick for making sure your chains don't turn into one giant knot.

What you need: A drinking straw.

What you do: Open your necklace and thread half of it through the straw. Clasp the necklace so that the straw is now a barrier for any potential tangling. Place the necklace in your travel container of choice and rest easy knowing that you can actually go from the beach to dinner in the 15 minutes you say you will.
