Racheal Yeager manages HERproject, a BSR initiative that provides women’s health education in factories in six countries in Asia and North Africa. HERproject brings together multinational companies, supplier factories, and local NGOs to create sustainable solutions for healthier, more empowered female workers. In addition to factory-based programs, HERproject is building partnerships between local government and factories to provide better access to services for female workers, and developing women’s health indicators for compliance audit protocols. Yeager also manages related research with the International Finance Corporation on women’s economic empowerment in special economic zones around the world through fair treatment, social benefits, and professional advancement opportunities.
