Rachel Hollis is the founder of Los Angeles-based event planning firm, Chic Events. In 2009, she was named by Inc. Magazine as one of the “Top 30 Entrepreneurs under 30.” At 28, she has already designed and produced fabulous parties for many of Hollywood’s elite, including Al Gore, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Ivanka Trump, Marcia Cross, Jamie King, and Cuba Gooding Jr. (just to name a few). Most recently, she planned the nuptials of actress Sara Rue’s wedding, which garnered national coverage in magazines such as People and US Weekly.

This past April, Rachel was named the new entertainment contributor for Traditional Home Magazine, where she is responsible for creating a four-page themed entertaining feature every month. Her upcoming September issue themed a “Scent Event, An Herb-Themed Gathering,” was so stunning, the editor-in-chief dedicated an overwhelming six pages to it.

Last November, Rachel appeared as the wedding planner on the WE Network show “Jilted?” This six-part relationship series followed potential brides as they gave their suitors ultimatums to see if they would get the wedding of their dreams or get “jilted.”

In addition, Rachel is a lifestyle expert for The Nate Berkus Show, Extra, KTLA Morning News, Fox 5, Better TV and a regular contributor on PopSugar TV and Celebrations.com. She has been featured in InStyle, OK! Weekly, Entertainment Weekly, Entrepreneur, Grace Ormand and the TV shows “I Do Over” on We Network, “The Traveler’s Guide to Live” on the Travel Channel” and “Self Made.” She also produces a popular blog called www.mychiclife.com, which offers daily tips on her favorite subjects: food, drinks and parties.
