Rachel Sarah's first book, Single Mom Seeking: Play Dates, Blind Dates, and Other Dispatches from the Dating World, was just released.

Her writing has appeared in Family Circle, Parenting, Parents, Tango, Ms., Christian Science Monitor, Washington Post.com, and San Francisco Examiner.

She is a columnist for j., the Jewish news weekly of Northern California, for which she received a Louis Rapoport Award for Excellence in Commentary from the American Jewish Press Association.
