Ray Tebout
Ray Tebout is an experienced criminal justice transitions specialist who provides a wide range of technical assistance, and training to organizations working with forensic and substance abuse populations. He is currently the Director of Counseling and Mentoring at The College Initiative, an organization that facilitates pathways from the criminal justice involvement to higher education and beyond. Prior to working with CI he managed the Volunteer and Work Readiness programs at The Fortune Society (a prisoner reentry organization).Ray’s practice areas include college access counseling, HR management, program planning, professional development, volunteer management and performance improvement planning. Ray holds a BA in Transitional Counseling Psychology and Economic Empowerment from the City University of New York. He is credentialed in strategic human resources, addiction counseling, and strength based human service practices.
