Rebecca Brooks is a publishers’ representative of curriculum-based media, making her a real stickler for verifying research with credible primary source material. Her lifelong interest in writing was rekindled by her desire to right a wrong. She was raised near Chicago, but has spent the past ten years living in the backwoods of northern Michigan. When she is not taking care of her dog and two cats, she enjoys exploring both terrain and ideas. She has also served as chairperson for a planning commission on land use, and understands the reverberating effect and sometimes unintended consequences of public policy.
