Newsflash! They've Invented Invisible Shoes and We're Sufficiently Freaked

Native to San Paulo, Brazil, shoe-lady Andreia Chaves derives inspiration from the chaos and structure of her hometown, and visual puns from the likes of Maison Martin Margiela, Rei Kawakubo, Yohji Yamamoto, and Issey Miyake. What this means in plainsmen terms is this: These are shoes that will freak people out. Yes, we know that her "invisible shoe" is basically a wedge made of mirrors, and looks as comfortable as the inside of Steve Buscemi's mouth, but there's really nothing that says "I'm a fashionista" like showing up at a party with your feet gone A.W.O.L.. Click here to Refinery29 for more of Andreia's creations, including a shoe that looks more like an egg-slicer than a heel, and a velcro creation that's bound to pick up a couple of stares (as well as a pound of lint).
