Renee Blodgett has been interested in travel since the time she corresponded with over a hundred pen pals from around the world at age 10. She has lived in 11 countries and traveled to over 75 and is the founder of We Blog the World, a travel blog of independent voices that covers every culture on the globe.

She is also the founder of Magic Sauce Media, a digital media, branding, social media and marketing consultancy and Magic Sauce Photography, a visual, creative extension of her writing. She has authored five travel photo books and is working on two more as well as a book on "where technology meets heart."
