Susan K. Hedahl has taught preaching for the past 20 years. She is the Herman G. Stuempfle Chair of Proclamation of the Word at Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. She was ordained in the ALC Lutheran Church in 1975. Her global experiences include a four year teaching stint in Tanzania, East Africa, travels to western and eastern Russia and periodically she sojourns in various countries in the Middle East. Her linguistic history includes Swahili and Arabic. She is the author of several books, including the just-released Fortress Press work, "Proclamation and Celebration."
