Richard Giannone is a professor of English at Fordham University. He received his B.A. from Catholic University of America, his M.A. from University of Michigan and his Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame.

Giannone is also the author of Flannery O’Connor, Hermit Novelist (University of Illinois Press, 2000.
