The billions of dollars of illegal drugs and the thousands and thousands of illegal immigrants that enter the United States from the south simply point out that "National Security" is a myth and the "War on Terror" is a term developed to keep us feeling safe with the impression that something is being done to protect us.
I know it's important that I take my sandals off for inspection before I get on a commercial airliner but what kind of inspections are all the illegal immigrants going through when they enter the country from the south. Who's checking passports along the southern border? Who's checking personal history along the footpaths? Who's getting fingerprints in the tunnels? What are the nationalities of our new visitors? I can ask these questions but the Terrorists can't?
By the way, how big a package is "billions of dollars of cocaine"? Is it the size of a house, the size of a car? How many trips does it take to get that much cocaine into the country? Is there a specific port in Florida that's easier to get through? Who best to answer that question? Who's receiving the shipments? Are we so concerned with our enemies on the other side of the world that we're forgetting our friends close by? Should the DEA be border patrol? Can we fight in Iraq AND protect ourselves at home? Sooo many questions!!
