President Bush observes 5th anniversary of Iraq War by making speech defending..blah... blah... blah... necessary... blah... blah... blah... Saddam Hussein.. blah... blah... blah... right decision... blah... blah... blah.... Does anybody pay attention any more to what this guy says, really?

He did acknowledge "battle in Iraq has been longer and harder and more costly than we anticipated." You suppose he's begun reading newspapers?

Iraq War passes another milestone....4,000 US military casualties. Approaching the number of mis-statements, half-truths and outright lies this administration has told the American people about Iraq.

Dick Cheney interviewed on ABC News. When told two thirds of American people say War in Iraq nor worth fighting, he responds, So?" Next question: So you don't care what the American people think? Answer: "No...." Soooooo, he's telling the American people in public what he once told Sen. Leahy in private. Only 10 more months, folks, only 10 more months.

Bush says he's going to "sprint to the finish." Looks like Cheney's going to ooze.

Ex-Gov. Bill Richardson, appointed by Bill Clinton as Sec. of Energy and Ambassador to UN and former presidential candidate, endorses Barack Obama. Clinton wondering why the #$%^&* he went all the way to New Mexico to watch the Superbowl and eat nachos with Richardson. Maybe he told Richardson to bet on the Patriots.

Guess Richardson won't be on the ticket if Hillary wins nomination.

Clinton supporter James Carville likens Richardson to Judas, Richards accuses Clinton campaign of "gutter politics." Hey guys, shouldn't you be saving this stuff for McCain and the Republicans?

Florida and Michigan Democrats apparently excluded from presidential nominating process. Both states advanced date of primaries to have more influence over process. There's a whole lot of irony going on here.

McCain visits Middle East. Palestinian leader suggests McCain more interested in Jewish voters than in peace process also notes that maybe Palestinians here will one day have as much money as Jewish campaign contributors so as to influence elections. How cynical...how anti-Semitic......how...how... true?

Pentagon awards $35 billion contract for tankers to Airbus, France-based company, excluding Boeing. McCain paved way for Airbus to compete, top campaign aides lobbied for Airbus. That ain't gonna help during the election, John.

Neocon New York Times Op-Ed columnist William Kristol suggests Clarence Thomas as running mate for McCain. Great idea! Anything to get him off the Supreme Court. But then Kristol calls Thomas "the most impressive conservative in the country." So you obviously can't take him seriously.

Supreme Court takes up gun control law in DC. Scalia been hunting with Cheney lately?

Assisted suicide advocate Dr. Jack Kevorkian planning to run for Congress. I will definitely contribute to his campaign if he'll promise to get Ralph Nader as a client.

Osama bin Laden accuses Pope Benedict XVI of helping in a "new crusade" against Islam. Vatican thrilled that somebody takes Pope seriously.

Duke and Georgetown ousted from March Madness in second round. Rooters-against rejoice nationwide.

Sounds like Mr. Valeriani has a death wish for Ralph Nader. Failure to address Ralph on the issues is tantamount to a plea of no contest in his favor. Ralph Nader is now pulling 19%. Double what McCain got (9%) and competitive with Obama and Hillary according to the latest poll. Imagine that. With the corporate media ignoring/marginalizing and largely failing to ackowledge Ralph, and other candidates spending 10's of millions, still, he is still reaching many disaffected voters who want the critical issues on the table and debated. The Democrats should pay attention and talk about these issues that voters care about.
