Rick Haggard is President of the Green Industry Alliance. The alliance works with green industries across the state to impact legislation important to the organization. The goal of the organization is to be a knowledgeable source of information for Indiana legislators and to maintain strong, working relationships with Indiana regulatory organizations. Rick is also the General Manager of C.M. Hobbs, Inc., Indiana’s oldest nursery, dating back to 1812, and he oversees all of the daily operations of the nursery, including sales, staffing, processes, inventory and the location of hard-to-find items. Rick has been a part of the Green Industry for over 35 years. Rick’s wife, Cathy is also involved in the Green Industry working for Sundown Gardens. Rick is past president of the Indianapolis Landscape Association and Indiana Nursery Landscape Association.
