Rob Miller is the Democratic candidate for Congress in the Second District of South Carolina. After enlisting in the U.S. Marine Corps at the age of 20, Rob went on to attain the rank of Sergeant. After being selected by the Marine Corps, Rob was commissioned as an officer, and served numerous deployments overseas, including two tours in Iraq as a combat infantryman. After his most recent service in Iraq, Rob returned to his home state of South Carolina and began to see first hand just how far off track our country had strayed. Considering the state of our nation and the legacy we are on track to turn over to our kids, Rob made the decision to take off his uniform and mount a challenge to Republican Congressman Joe Wilson with the belief that we cannot change Washington until we change the people we send to Washington. Rob lives in Beaufort, South Carolina with his wife Shane and their 6-year old son. Rob and Shane are also the owners of The Recruit's Depot, a small business specializing in Marine Corps gifts and t-shirts. Learn more about Rob and his campaign at www.RobMillerForCongress.com
