Rob Riemen is the founder, president, and CEO of the Nexus Institute, a Netherlands-based leading international center for intellectual and philosophical debate and reflection on European culture. Founded in 1994 by Riemen, the Institute -- which is widely acknowledged for the quality of its insight into contemporary issues through conferences, lectures, and publications -- seeks to give shape to an informed dialogue between decision-makers and the world of ideas. Riemen, who has lectured widely around the world, is the author of The Nobility of Spirit (2008, Yale University Press), also published in Spain, Mexico, Rumania and France (forthcoming).
