Governor Palin's Reading List

Fascist writer Westbrook Pegler, an avowed racist who Sarah Palin approvingly quoted in her acceptance speech for the moral superiority of small town values, expressed his fervent hope about my father, Robert F. Kennedy, as he contemplated his own run for the presidency in 1965, that "some white patriot of the Southern tier will spatter his spoonful of brains in public premises before the snow flies."

It might be worth asking Governor Palin for a tally of the other favorites from her reading list.

Where have the Kennedy's been? It seems like since the convention, you have all been hiding. Obama needs the strongest surrogates he can get, and only one name comes to mind- Kennedy. Please tell your family to get on all of the biased media outlets and defend Obama against the lies and smears of the McCain campaign.

Where have the Kennedy's been? I've wondered the same thing, although it's not their responsibility to save the country. It's just that we need saving so very badly now.

The Kennedy family has given so much politically, including two lives... awful events that I'll never forget. With that in mind, who could blame any of them for lying low and riding out this current political storm.
