Robert G. Zuckerman
GET UPDATES FROM Robert G. Zuckerman
Robert G. Zuckerman is a renowned Hollywood photographer, having done advertising and/or publicity imagery for such films as all three "Transformers," both "National Treasures," "Flight," "Unstoppable," "Pursuit of Happyness," "Terminator 3," "Training Day," "Any Given Sunday," "I Know What You Did Last Summer," "The Crow," and many more. He has done soulful portraiture of many A-list celebrities and icons, including Will Smith, Al Pacino, Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz, David Bowie, Dr. Maya Angelou, Roy Lichtenstein, Allen Ginsberg and scores of others.

Always drawn to the personal, Robert began KINDSIGHT® in early 2002, in the aftermath of 9/11, when the world was enshrouded in the specter of terror, to show that life's richness is all around us each and every day, within arm's and heart's reach. Fueled by something an artist he'd met ten years earlier said, that, "The more personal my expression, the more universal its meaning," KINDSIGHT® shows the extraordinary within the ordinary, and how any moment or encounter can be a story of life's richness.

Robert shares the KINDSIGHT® message with schools across the country, has presented at Authors at Google, at Harvard University as well as to corporate and diplomatic audiences. He has made permanent installations of KINDSIGHT® pieces in three major hospitals thus far, with more on the way.

One thing I really like about this picture of Dean Schriner is that visually and emotionally, it at once radiates both darkness and light. In this case, though, darkness is not the absence of light but rather, an aspect, form or...
