Senator Lieberman is a man of courage and vision. What the radical chic leftist "new" Democrats did to him was shameful. It will mark the beginning of the end of the Democratic Party. John McCain's gain is Democrats loss.
Joe Lieberman is a war hawk, plain and simple. He staunchly supports George Bush's War in Iraq and John McCain's plan to stay in Iraq for 100 years. But Lieberman's new alliance with the Republican Party runs even deeper. He has endorsed and stumped for McCain, wants to be the star of the Republican National Convention, and has even served on a 527 group that smeared Barack Obama with a nasty attack ad.
And yet Lieberman still holds a top rank within the Senate Democratic Caucus as chairman of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. The Senate Democratic Steering Committee needs to know just how much of a conflict of interest this is. That's why we created Lieberman Must Go.
Here's what you can do: Sign our petition today and tell the Senate Democratic Steering Committee to strip Lieberman of his leadership role in Congress. Then, e-mail this video to everyone you know and spread it on sites like Digg and elsewhere.
Recently in Talking Points Memo, Josh Marshall suggested that the best way to limit Lieberman is by encouraging the Steering Committee to render him powerless in 2009. Lieberman must go, and you can make that happen by donating to Brave New Films today.

That is THE FUNNIEST thing I have ever read - thanks!!!
I am glad I brightened up your day timmo. I am sure that soon to be Secretary of Sate Lieberman is also having a good laugh.
I was Joe Lieberman's friend and roommate for four years at Yale. It pains and embarrasses and angers me now, because then he was an anti-Vietnam war activist (he also sought deferments to stay out of any actual fighting). So, now even when he won't send his own children or grandchildren to fight in an illegal, immoral, and bloody War on Iraq (or Iran, too), he, like Bush and Cheney and the rest of their cowardly neocon ilk are willing to send the poor and the minorities of America to die for their ugly imperialist and/or religious beliefs. Shame on them. Shame on Joe in particular. He has betrayed me, himself, and what is best in America.
The people of Conn voted Liberman into office. His last senate bid was terrible. They are the ones to either keep him or get rid of him. Either way, when the senate seats change, Lieberman will not have a chairmanship. He knows that. That's the reason he is putting so much into John McSame. He NEEDS him to win. Otherwise, the senate is going to be a very lonely place for him
I hope everyone that reads this post will take the time to Sign the Petition. It would also be very kewl if you'd "Buzz" this article up, so even more people will read it and sign too. Thanks everyone!
NOTE TO THE GOP: Take him, PLEASE!
It's TIME FOR JOE TO GO!!!!!
The petition is not the answer. We can't have Lieberman caucusing with the GOP!! They would have majority by a count of 50-49. Then the Senate Majority will be one of the GOP, not Democrat.
Wait until after January 2009. Lieberman's day has not yet come. Sit tight.
Agreed. Once the count changes, toss the traitor out. Hopefully the people of Connecticut will make this his last term.
Doesn't Connecticut have provison for a recall vote? Would that not be the way to go?
An agressive media campaign painting Joe as the lap dog of the neocons and a peddler of right-wing agitprop would be more than enough to get him out and Lamont or another Democrat in,I would think.
Recalling him would be better than the Democrats stripping him of his chairmanship. That would just give him the excuse he needs to caucus with the Rethugs, thus giving them the majority in the Seante.
