New McCain Campaign Song

2008-10-10-YesterdayMcCain2.jpg

In an increasingly rare moment of candor, the McCain campaign today released its new campaign song, "Yesterday":

Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away
Now it looks as though they're here to stay
Oh, I believe in yesterday.

Suddenly, I'm not half to man I used to be
There's a shadow hanging over me
Oh, yesterday came suddenly.

Why she had to do an interview I don't know, she wouldn't say
She said everything wrong, now I long for yesterday.

Yesterday, telling the truth was such an easy game to play
Now I need a place to hide away
Oh, I believe in yesterday.

Mm mm mm mm mm.

(with apologies to Paul McCartney and John Lennon)

After seeing the videos of McCain/Palin campaign rally's my suggestion for campaign theme songs is "Dueling Banjo's" from Deliverance.
