Montréal has been in the news a lot lately. First it was protests led by students, who clanged pots and pans in opposition to tuition hikes. Then, the government banned such protests, which resulted in even greater outcry.
I won't attempt to downplay the important of either of these happenings. Rather, I want to spotlight the many treasures this quirky gem of a city has to offer travelers.
