Headwaters Of The Susquehanna River 2007

Robert Stark has lived and painted in Union Dale PA for over 40 years. He has exhibited in solo exhibitions at the Corcoran Gallery of Art, The Phillips Collection, Cheekwood Fine Arts Center, and the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art. His large paintings are currently on exhibit at the Federal Courthouse in Scranton, PA. Stark's paintings have traveled to over 140 world capitols through the State Department program, 'Art in the Embassies.'

I have painted the creek that runs past my studio in Northeastern Pennsylvania for over 40 years. Fiddle Lake Creek joins the Lackawanna River and eventually the Susquehanna and empties into the Chesapeake Bay. "Headwaters Of The Susquehanna River 2007" (90" by 160", oil on linen, diptych) is currently on a long term exhibition at The William J. Nealon Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
