Send an ArseMail: Another Asshole Management Tool

digg Share this on Facebook Huffpost - stumble reddit del.ico.us RSS

I recently wrote a post here that asked, "Are You a Certified Asshole?" I explained that we had posted the Asshole Rating Self Exam, or ARSE Test on Guy Kawasaki's blog a few months back. This is a 24-item self-test to help determine if you are a certified asshole, or if you complete it with someone else in mind, to determine if her or she is a certified asshole. When I put up that post about a week ago, about 98,000 people had completed the ARSE. But we surpassed over 100,000 completions a couple days ago. So the self-examination continues!

Given the response from Huffington readers to the ARSE Test, I thought you might be interested in another web toy that I developed with Electric Pulp and entrepreneur Brian Witlin. We call it ARSEmail and is also is based on The No Asshole Rule. You have a choice of sending one of two cards: one to help someone who is dealing with an asshole or the other to apologize if you have been asshole. You can send a personal message with each card. You pick your card, write your message, and then send it. Let me know what you think of this "asshole management" tool.
