I assumed most people already knew that I had supported Obama. Anyone who has spent five minutes listening to my program would have known that. But if it helped to make it official, I'm happy to make it so.

Thanks, Ron!! BTW, your show is excellent. Never miss it. You interview the most interesting people. You ask them the most interesting questions and you exhibit both intelligence and understanding. Keep on keepin' on.
Don't forget:
Colin Powell
The Chicago Tribune (first Democratic Presidential endoresment in their 140 YEARS!!)
And unofficially:
George Will (but his articles have been scathing to the McCain campaign)
Kathleen Parker (not officially but if you saw here on The Colbert Report it is pretty Obvious)
I love it. We live in a pretty conservative county, and much of the demographic seems to be of the "good ol boy" or religious fundamental persuasion--living here has spiked my blood pressure during the last few weeks.
It is what it is, but one of our next door neighbors is a member of the Arian Brotherhood and we just found out the other day that he had decided to vote for Obama--because, in the neighbor's words, he could do a better job.
Hate, intolerance, ingnorance, all that is wrong...but it is nice to see that things might really be slowly changing. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Californian's: VOTE NO ON PROP 8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When Jenna and Laura Bush where on Larry King a few months before Jenna's wedding, Jenna alluded to the fact that she was not going to vote for McCain and Laura in a panic grabbed Jenna's arm and said something about Bush supporting the republican candidate.
Let's not forget Ronald Reagan's Chief of Staff, Colin Powell and many other Republicans with a conscience known to all of us personally in our lives.
Thanks Ron, you are a class act! For once in the last 8 years, I truly hope that we can have our America back! As Obama reminds us, there is only The United States of America.
Yes I agree Joe has been drinking the Sarah Koolade and defending her lack of knowledge viciously lately. He attacks Mikka who is quit intellectual and frankly it is "Reverse Sexism". I don't see how he was ever a Democrat or Independent! Say it isn't so JOE ! MSNBC is my substitute for Fauxnews which almost hospitalized me for bad journalism!
...while you're wishing, also replace Pat Buchanan. He is such a bore! JScarborough, I can't stand him! I love Micca's dad whenever he drops by--He always know how to handle the childish Scarborough .
Somewhere along the line you were taught how to think critically (as in what is important, not in meaning of "to be critical" of something.) You are smart, able to analyze the facts, weigh the consequences and make decisions in an informed manner. Thank you for being true to these beliefs. And you can laugh at yourself which to my mind is the true measure of a man. Way cool!
To Everyone: Let's not give an inch! You know they'll try to take the mile! I'm keeping my optimism up by volunteering. We can do it. Yes, we can. We have to make it too blinding, too big, too huge to allow for cheating. Not an inch.....
Got a little time today? Can you make just 25 phone calls? I've made 35 phone calls so far and now have my cell phone charging up again while I take a break. Let's go for it! We want the win!
What now, we need Rachael Maddow and Keith Oberman to state who they are supporting!! It's pretty obvious Reagen Jr. is supporting Obama, the real question is who Chris Matthews is supporting!
No, no, and NO. The lines between real journalism and political punditry have become far too blurred already. If anything, I'd like to see LESS from TV personalities that involves turning personal opinion and political objectives into "fair and balanced news," and see MORE in the way of actual news coming from these people.
I'm not interested in hearing from "journalists" who they are supporting - what I want them to do is give me straight facts. Actual facts, as opposed to the spin put out by the political organizations. And I want the political pundits to divorce themselves from the campaigns.
Never before in the history of our nation has a presidential candidate endorsed his opponent before the presidential election has occurred.
SO AT 11AM ET ON SUNDAY NOVEMBER 2, 2008, just 2 days before the election, when John McCain announced his endorsement for Barack Obama for President of the United States, shock waves were felt around the globe!
Mr McCain in a rare moment of lucidity said "It's over and I admit I made some horrible mistakes. Among my tragic flaws was being seen with President George W Bush several times and declaring, on one the worst days in the nation's economic history, that fundamentally our economy was strong.
And ,in an error of truly monumental proportions, I chose a vice-presidential candidate quickly, desperately and recklessly who turned out to be the laughing stock of the nation- if it weren't so threatening to the nation's security. Many of my closest colleagues and advisors realized immediately after I chose Sarah Palin that the game was over", said McCain
"The welfare of our nation is more important than a McCain/Palin victory" - said a relieved looking McCain ,thus salvaging any shred of his positive legacy that might be remaining.
Sarah Palin could not be reached for formal comment since, despite Mr McCain's decision, she decided to "dump the old guy and go it alone". Constitutional and Presidential scholars were seen advising her on the her legal options with her makeup and wardrobe team still in tow.
Ron, I've been a fan since your network TV show at night in those crazy eighties. I wish you were back on!
Tom Hayden wrote of the American's insatiable capacity to dream. I have often said that our country could restore our credibility and standing quicker with a Chris Mathews/ Ron Reagan administration.
Please throw us a crumb on MSM when you can. May he continue to bless you. Thanks:) g
Ron owes us after his father ruined our "Morning in America" and called my poor struggling starving mom a "welfare queen" back in the 80s. LOL! No hard feelings Pres. Reagan and may you RIP.

Thank you, Ron!
So let's do a head count of the scion of Republican icons who have outed for Obama:
Susan Eisenhower
Julie Nixon Eisenhower
CC Goldwater
Chris Buckley
Ron Reagan
Who's next Laura Bush and the twins?
Ron Reagan was d Democrat way back when his dad was president.
And unofficially:
Peggy Noonan!
I also saw something else interesting: A guy from the deep south who displayed his pro-Obama sign next to his rebel flag sign. Now that's a rebel!
sounds like more of a Maverick, if you ask me...
No...that's a MAVERICK!!!!!
No...that's a M@VERICK!!!!!!

I don't see how he was ever a Democrat or Independent! Say it isn't so JOE ! MSNBC is my substitute for Fauxnews which almost hospitalized me for bad journalism!
Joe was a Republican Congressman from Floriday and I agree that he has been worse than ever lately. He refuses to understand simple issues lately.
"say it isn't so, JOE ! " ?
This is more succinct: "SAY IT ISN'T JOE!"
POOR JOE...JUST CAN'T LET GO !!!
Ron Reagan would make a great replacement for either!!
...while you're wishing, also replace Pat Buchanan. He is such a bore! JScarborough, I can't stand him! I love Micca's dad whenever he drops by--He always know how to handle the childish Scarborough .

You may do it on your cell phone. :) It's Sunday. Weekend minutes. :)
Ballerinas for Obama, that's so cute.
Thanks Ron. Sincerely, I think you're putting country first.
I agree. Thanks from a NM Obama supporter!!!

Dr. Rick Lippin
Now I wish your mom would come out for Obama. That would be the icing on the cake!

At least I can sleep nights knowing you are your own man and that you can think for himself and can speak with your own mind.
As always, independent thought is three times more provocative than noxious groupthink.
