White Ribbon Alliance Reports on Keeping Promises, Measuring Results

In New York City, the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (PMNCH) convened a meeting to present key findings of three new publications examining progress on commitments made to improving women's and children's health. The report released by PMNCH finds that while the Global Strategy has been a catalyst for more focused and coordinated efforts, this strategy also faces constraints.

Rose Mlay and the White Ribbon Alliance Citizens' Voice team was on site to learn about these new reports from Dr. Babtunde Osotimehin, executive director of UNFPA, Professor Zulfiqar Butta, PMNCH Board Member and co-Chair of Countdown to 2015, and Dr. Richard Horton, co-chair of the Independent Expert Review Group and Editor of the Lancet.
